a historic landmark in Bend

Constructed in 1932, the Neoclassical style post office symbolized the region’s growing prosperity and American ambition. It served as a post office until 1978 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Vision for a new hotel
dedicated to Oregon pioneers
Our vision is inspired by the fearless resolve and independent spirit of our namesake, Minnie Westman. As the first woman mail carrier in the West, Minnie courageously traversed the mountains of Oregon on horseback to make her deliveries.
